Yes, the cast of "Today's Kira-kun" matches their characters perfectly. The cast is fantastic. They were excellent actors. Taishi Nakagawa, who plays Kira-kun, clearly conveys the character's cheerful and pleasant nature, as well as the fragility and grief that comes with his secret illness. Ninon is played by Marie Iitoyo, who gives a nuanced and subtle performance as a quiet and timid girl who struggles to express herself but finds the confidence to open up to Kira-kun. The supporting cast also excels in their roles, adding depth and humor to the plot. For example, Yuna Taira, who plays Mio, Kira-childhood kun's friend, contrasts Ninon's guarded nature, while Kento Nakajima, who plays Kira-friend kun's and classmate, brings fun and brightness to the plot.
